Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA)
EPAs are used as an innovative format in medical education and training throughout Switzerland. The meeting will provide an overview of what is meant by EPAs, how EPAs are implemented at the appropriate level and how they are embedded in the curriculum. Examples will be used to open a discussion among the participants on the future perspectives of EPAs in different settings and different health professions.
Programme
5pm: Welcome
5.05 pm: Short introductory presentations by members of the Board and other invited experts cover the following topics:
EPA’s for beginners: basic knowledge about EPA’s and what are the motivation for implementation.
Experience reports and examples from EPAs in undergraduate studies and postgraduate trainings.
Small group discussions:
In e.g. three groups participants will discuss specific topics together with the presenters.
6.30 pm: Get-together and Apéro
This event is free of charge and open to everyone. Do not hesitate to spread this invitation to potentially interested participants.
